Hello, friends!
This is a timeless piece about life (one of my favorite subjects).
We are all looking to optimize the triangle between health, money and time, and especially us in crypto are trying to more or less escape the rat race by making enough money in quite a short time.
But before we start, Today’s newsletter is sponsored by Lynex.
Following up on my previous post about Lynex, I want to highlight additional aspects that set it apart from competitors.
Lynex offers a unique LP/ALM matching service, enabling liquidity providers to choose their preferred automated strategy.
This is a significant user experience improvement, as managing concentrated liquidity can be complex.
It involves constant monitoring of LP positions, ensuring they are within range to earn emissions and points, and avoiding impermanent loss.
Lynex’s automated strategies mitigate these challenges, providing a seamless, “set and forget” approach to managing liquidity, making it an ideal choice for both new and experienced participants.
Lynex’s innovative approach and strategic developments ensure it remains at the forefront of DeFi, making it an excellent choice for both new and experienced participants.

Some Thoughts About Life From A Degen
Hi, friends!
Life's a funny thing, isn't it?
One moment you're cruising along, thinking you've got it all figured out, and the next second you're staring at your phone at 3 AM, wondering if you should ape your life savings into some obscure memecoin.
We spend so much time chasing gains and obsessing over charts that we sometimes forget about the bigger picture. So let's zoom out for a second and reflect on what really matters.
No, I'm no guru sitting at the top of some mountain. I'm just a guy who's been around the crypto block for some time. And through it all, I've picked up a few thoughts of mine that might be worth sharing.
First things first: your tribe matters.
And I'm not talking about your Twitter followers or Telegram groups (though those can be pretty damn important in our world). I'm talking about the flesh-and-blood humans who have your back when the markets tank and you are questioning every life choice you've ever made. Your family, your ride-or-die friends, your significant other – these are the people who will help you get back on your feet when you've aped into too many shitcoins.
Don't neglect them in pursuit of the next 100x. Trust me, I've been there, and it's not worth it.
Speaking of apeing, let's talk about taking risks.
Life's not a testnet, friends. This is mainnet, and the blocks keep irreversibly coming.
Now, I'm not saying you should throw caution out of your window and ape into every project that crosses your Twitter feed. But don't be afraid to take some calculated risks, especially early in your career. The most valuable things in life often come with an element of uncertainty. It's about finding that sweet spot between "playing it safe" and "holy shit, what was I thinking?"
Here's the thing: most people are terrified of doing anything without a guaranteed outcome. They're stuck in a scarcity mindset, always looking for the safest way to do the least amount.
But that's no way to live, is it?
The real upside in life comes from betting on yourself. It's about having the balls to say, "You know what? I believe in myself like nobody else does. Let’s see where this can go."
I know what some of you are thinking. "Easy for you to say, anon. You've already made it."
But let me tell you something – success isn't a straight line. It's a series of failures, lessons learned, and near-misses before you finally hit that sweet spot. And even then, it's not over. You've got to keep pushing, keep learning, keep growing.
Take it from someone who's been through the crypto storms – the journey is where the real value lies.
Sure, making bank is great (and don't get me wrong, I'm all for it). But it's the skills you pick up along the way, the relationships you make, and the resilience you build that really matter in the long run.
So let's talk about work for a second.
We spend a huge chunk of our lives doing it, so it better be something that lights a fire in your belly. If you're dragging yourself to a job you hate day after day, something's gotta give.
Life's too short to be miserable 40+ hours a week. Find something you're passionate about, something that challenges you and makes you want to be better.
And when you find it, give it everything you've got.
But here's the kicker – don't let your work consume you entirely. I've seen too many people in this space burn themselves out, and sacrifice their health and relationships on the altar of "making it." It's not worth it. You need balance. Take care of your body, get some fresh air, and for the love of all that's holy, step away from the charts every once in a while.
With work comes - let me address the elephant in the room - money.
In the crypto world, it's easy to get caught up in the numbers game. But here's a truth bomb for you: whether or not money can buy happiness, it can surely buy freedom.
And that, my friends, is a big goddamn deal.
Having enough money so you don't worry about bills can greatly improve your happiness and health. But, well – there's a point of diminishing returns. Once you've got your basic needs covered and a bit of a cushion, each extra dollar brings less and less happiness. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying "stop making money." I'm saying be mindful of what you're trading it for.
You know how we're always talking about scarcity in crypto?
Well, nothing is more scarce than time. Unlike money or tokens, you can't mine more of it, and you certainly can't buy it back once it's gone. No matter how much you 10x your portfolio, you can't buy back the years you spent hunched over your laptop, missing out on life.
So use your money wisely. Invest in experiences, in learning, and in helping others. And for God’s sake, invest in your health. All the gains in the world won't mean anything if you're too burnt out to enjoy them.
Now, let's talk about something that might cause anxiety in some of you – cognitive load.
In this space, it's easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information bombarding you 24/7. New protocols, memecoins, price action, Twitter drama – yeah, it's a lot. But here's a pro tip: learn to filter out the noise. Focus on what really matters and let the rest slide. Your mental health will thank you.
And while we're on the subject of mental health, let's address the existential doubts that come with this wild ride. Let me assure you; It's normal. Especially after hitting major milestones or during market downturns.
You're not alone in feeling this way. Take a step back, breathe, and remember why you got into this in the first place.
Since I got into this, one of the most important things I've learned is the importance of staying curious and always learning. The crypto space moves at lightning speed, and if you're not evolving, you're falling behind. But don't just limit yourself to blockchain tech. Read widely, explore new ideas, talk to people outside your usual circles. You never know where the next big inspiration will come from.
Speaking of inspiration, don't underestimate the power of getting out into nature. There's something about stepping away from the screens and into the real world that puts things into perspective. It's easy to get caught up in the virtual world of crypto, but remember – we're still flesh and blood creatures who need sunlight and fresh air.
However truistic and naive it sounds, it’s really a good idea to take a walk to the nearest forest every time you are doubting the path you took - the goals you set for yourself.
Having clear objectives for yourself – daily, yearly, and long-term – is crucial. But here's the catch: be flexible. If a great opportunity comes along that doesn't fit your original plan, don't be afraid to pivot. Some of the best moves in my life came from saying "yes" to the unexpected.
One more thing about goals – make sure they're not all about money or career. Set goals for your personal growth, your relationships, and your health. Because at the end of the day, that's what really matters.
I don’t want to FUD in here, but you won’t always achieve all the goals you set for yourself. Let's address something that is uncomfortable – failure.
Embrace it. Learn from it. Don't let the fear of failure hold you back from taking chances. Every successful person you admire has a graveyard of failed projects and ideas behind them. It's part of the process. Period.
Now, I know some of you might be thinking, "Yea, yea - again - easy for you to say, you've already made it." But let me put it as clearly as possible – there is no "making it."
There's always another level, another challenge. The day you think you've "made it" is the day you start to stagnate. Stay hungry, stay foolish, as the saying goes.
I want to wrap this up with something really important – gratitude.
In the fast-paced world of crypto, it's easy to always be chasing the next big thing, never satisfied with what you have. But take a moment every day to appreciate where you are, and how far you've come.
Be grateful for the opportunities, the lessons, and yes, even the hardships.
They've all shaped you into who you are.
Remember, life isn't just about accumulating wealth or achieving status. It's about the connections you make, the experiences you have, the impact you leave on the world. Don't get so caught up in the game that you forget to actually live.
So there you have it, anons. Some thoughts about life from a guy who's been through the crypto wringer and lived to tell the tale.
Take what resonates, leave what doesn't.
And remember – in this wild journey of life, you're the main character. Make it a story worth telling.
Stay based, stay humble, and for the love of all that's holy, don't forget to touch grass once in a while.
…
That’s it for today, anon!
Hope you enjoyed this piece.
